Pennsylvania. Board of Wardens for the Port of Philadelphia
Variant namesThe Board of Wardens for the Port of Philadelphia were responsible for issuing pilots licenses and making rules and regulations governing their service. The Navigation Commission for the Delaware River and its Navigable Tributaries was formed in 1937. It is a later form of the Board of Wardens.
