Ent, Uzal W., 1927-

Uzal W. Ent was a United States (U.S.) Army and Pennsylvania National Guard officer. He attended the United States Military Academy (USMA), graduated from Officer Candidate School (OCS), and became a 2nd lieutenant of infantry in 1949. He was assigned to the 27th Infantry Regiment in Japan and in Korea (1949-1951). After various other assignments, he became an officer in the 110th Infantry Regiment in Ulm, Germany until his resignation from active duty in 1953. Ent was commissioned in the 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania National Guard, in 1954 and retired from the Guard as a brigadier general in 1980.
