American Baptist Churches of the Great Rivers Region

Organization formed in 1968 to provide support for churches and auxiliary organizations that were members of the former Illinois Baptist State Convention and the Missouri Convention of American Baptists. A board of directors governs the region and is responsible for policy and business and financial matters. Each member congregation must make contributions to the American Baptist Mission budget and participate regularly in the support of the purposes of the region as outlined in the by-laws. A regional newsletter and yearly directory are published.
