Hoy, David Fletcher, 1863-1930.
David Fletcher "Davy" Hoy was Cornell's Registrar. On July 23, 2008. an event to commemorate the ball coming back to Cornell was held at the former home of Davy Hoy, 225 Fall Creek Drive. David F Hoy III, Davy's grandson presented the ball to Cornell.
