Koch, William E. (William Earle),

Koch, born in 1959 in Greenfield, Mass., had a 20-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps (1976-1996). He achieved the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in the 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion and was stationed in North Carolina, Okinawa, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. He served in the Persian Gulf War, 1991, and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal with Combat Device. After his service, Koch took a job with West Building Supply in Dothan, Ala. He lives in Newton, Ala.
