Johnston, Faith, 1902-
Faith (July 3, 1902-January 20, 1998) lived in Rosebush (Mich.) with her parents, John Yates Johnston and Mary Jane Steele, and Faith's siblings: George, Bessie, Mary, and Ruth. Faith earned a B.A. from Central Normal School, now Central Michigan University (CMU), in 1923, and a M.S. from the University of Chicago. She taught biology at CMU for 45 years beginning in 1929. The Rosebush Public Library in her honor following her death in 1998.
