Levy, Miriam Flora.
Miriam Flora Levy (1895-1975) was born in Franklin, La., and graduated from Newcomb College in New Orleans in 1916. After several years as a graduate art student, she worked as a craftswoman in the Newcomb Art School until 1940. Miriam Levy's artistic specialty was metal-work; from 1940-1959 she worked as a jewelry designer at Hausmann's Jewelers on Canal Street.
