Methodist Minister, author.
Reverend David Stratford Scadeng, Methodist Minister and father of Mrs. R.L. Goulding, was born in 1870 in London, England. He came to the United States in 1905, and became an American citizen. He was also an author who volunteered for YMCA service during World War I. He first served at Camp Gordon, Georgia, then at the YMCA recreaction area in London, England, during 1918 and 1919. Scadeng died in 1957 in Miami, Florida.
