Hancock & Adams.
Ammon Hancock (1788-1847) and Isaac Adams (1806-1854) ran a general merchandise store in Lynchburg, Va. Hancock was mayor of Lynchburg (1829) and a member of city council. Adams was the first commissioner of revenue in Appomattox County.
