Served in the United States Navy, 1942-1946. Member, Florida House of Representatives, 1956-1962; Member, Florida Senate, 1962-1970. Candidate, Florida Gubernatorial elections: 1964, 1970. Retired from politics to private legal practice, 1970. Died on January 7, 1988 in Gainesville, Florida.
