Norrish, Richard, 1812-1871.
Corporal in 96th Foot Regiment in charge of a militay post at Kojonup, he applied for a discharge when his regiment was posted to India in 1849. He became a mail contractor and sheep farmer in the district, after living in Perth for a short time.
