Cox, Noble, 1896-

Noble Cox enlisted in the United States Navy at age 21. He was sent to Newport, Rhode Island for his basic training where he remained throughout the First World War. Cox studied to be a naval nurse and worked in the main hospital during the flu epidemic of 1918 and 1919. He was in the United States Navy from April 6, 1918 to November 20, 1919.
