Verwayen, Bernard.
In February 1964 the H.M.A.S. Voyager was sunk by a collision with its flagship H.M.A.S. Melbourne. Some persons were killed and many injured. Lengthy legal proceedings arose from this event. In 1990 the case of "Verwayen V Cth" was heard in the High Court. Mr Verwayen won by a bare majority..
