Hancock, Elizabeth Muir.
Born in Georgetown, Colo. on December 23, 1912. Raised in Idaho Springs, Colo. Spent her adult life in Denver, Colo. Worked for the Public Service Company for 40 years. The Hancock family moved to the Georgetown area because of silver mining in 1875. Courtney Ryley Cooper was a poet and neighbor of the family in Idaho Springs, Colo.
