Dupont, Rebecca Black, 1869-1945.
Rebecca Black Dupont (1869-1945) was Savannah, Georgia's first woman stenographer. She began her career with the Plant System (railroads) in Savannah October 1, 1895, and retired in 1935 as a veteran clerk of the Savannah offices of the Atlantic Coast Line Railway. She was an active leader in many women's organizations in Savannah.
