Holtz, Helmuth
Helmuth Heinrich Diedrich Holtz (1833-1915) was an artist, sailor and Union soldier who was born in Schleswig. He visited Texas ports in 1860 and made sketches of Indianola and Matagorda that were later turned into lithographs.
