The Center for Historical Population Studies existed from 1977 to 1984 to conduct and facilitate research in all disciplines dealing with past populations. It had a particular interest in scholarly use of the collections of the Utah Genealogical Society. Dean L. May, Assistant Professor of History, served as director of the Center.
