Eaves, Charles Dudley, 1896-
Variant namesOriginal Texas Technological College faculty member. Taught history from the 1925 opening of the college until his retirement in 1959. Wrote his dissertation on C.W. Post, founder of Post, Texas. C.A. Hutchinson, of the University of Virginia, prepared Dr. Eaves' dissertation for publication, conducting further research into the Double U Company and C.W. Post. The manuscript was published as "Post City, Texas" by the Texas State Historical Association in 1952.
