Lindsay-Cockerell.
Vachel Lindsay, prominent early twentieth century poet from Springfield, Illinois, met Dura Brokaw Cockrell in 1904 when they attended art school together. After he married Elizabeth Connor, she and Cockrell became good friends and their friendship continued after Lindsay's death in 1931.
