Berc, Harold T.

Berc was awarded the Bronze Star. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1955. As an author, he contributed to various histories concerning the U.S. Navy and World War II and published Short Sea Sagas (2002), a collection of his short stories based on traditional sea lore and his own experiences. He died in 2012 in Chicago at age 97.
