Ball, W. Macmahon (William Macmahon), 1901-....
Variant namesPolitical scientist and diplomat, Ball taught at the University of Melbourne and undertook missions in South-East Asia. He was Advisor to the United Nations Conference in San Francisco in 1945 and a member of the Allied Council for Japan, 1946-47. He was a regular commentator on world affairs for the ABC and in newspapers and magazines.
