E. H. W. Meyerstein

Edward Harry William Meyerstein (1889-1952) was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford, and worked briefly in the Manuscript department of the British Museum before spending the rest of his life as a writer and poet. Details are given in Who Was Who . The typescript of an unpublished biography by Gordon Hawkins, an independent scholar who knew Meyerstein in Cambridge, was lodged at the library in 2001.
