West, Charles F., 1864-1947.

Charles F. West (1864-1947) was employed for many years at the Glens Falls Insurance Company, retiring in 1929. He later served two terms on the City Council of Glens Falls, New York, from 1940-1944. He served on the Glens Falls Board of Education and was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Rotary Club of Glens Falls. He had a keen interest in local history and was one of the organizers of the Old Glens Falls Club. He married Mary DeLong in 1896.
