Westchester County (N.Y.). Committee.
The New York Provincial Congress passed an order on March 1, 1776 authorizing the provincial Treasurer to pay the Westchester County Committee a sum to defray contingent expenses of the county. The treasurer, Peter V. B. Livingston paid James Franklin, the committee's agent the sum of 430 pounds on May 15, 1776.
