Jameson, Thomas Henry

Thomas Henry Jameson (b. 1894 at Foynaes, Limerick) trained at the Royal Naval College, Greenwich. As Captain, Royal Marines, he served at Antwerp on the Western Front, at Gallipoli, with the Grand Fleet and in East and Central Russia. He was awarded the DSO (Distinguished Service Order). He also served in the Second World War, was awarded the CBE, and later became a Major General.
