St John's Church (North Perth, W.A.)

St John's was opened March 1882 as the Mission Room, North Perth, for St George's Cathedral and was used for Sunday evening services, Bible classes, etc. In 1889 St John's became a separate parish. The last service was conducted in 1928. Church of England services were held in Western Australia from the colony's inception in 1829. The Church of England in Australia was established in 1962 and, in 1981, became the Anglican Church of Australia.
