Lalor, W. G. (William George), 1897-1978
Variant namesWilliam George Lalor was born on December 6, 1897, in Rutland, Vermont. He received his commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy on June 5, 1920. He commanded the U.S. Vincennes from January 1945 to July 1946, and retired as a rear admiral on July 1, 1950. Lalor died in July 1978.
