Crossett, Margaret E.
Missionary; born Margaret Rice Elliot, 1906, in China to missionary parents; graduated from Wheaton College, 1929; served under China Inland Mission (CIM), 1931-1935; married Vincent Crossett, also missionary under CIM, 1935; served with her husband in Anhui Province; resigned from CIM, 1948, and moved to Honolulu where Vincent had a pastorate; reapplied to CIM, then Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF), 1961, and assigned in Taiwan first to the OMF mission house in Tainan and then to Yu Shan Theological Institute in Hualien as a teacher; retired from OMF, 1973, as a result of her husband's heart attack; husband pastored in Illinois; moved to OMF's retirement home, 1986; died in 1991.
