Resident of Webster City, Iowa; prominent conservationist and speaker; active in numerous women's clubs and state and national organizations; president of the Iowa Federation of Women's Clubs (1915-1917); state chairman of the Women's Committee of the Council of National Defense (1917-1919); and national leader of the General Federation of Women's Clubs' conservation activities.
