Hutchins, Katherine Brainard, 1918-
A staff assistant in the recreational branch of the American Red Cross, Hutchins was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of civil engineer Albert S. Brainard and Alice Laura White. She was a graduate of Palm Beach (Fla.) High School and served overseas from 1944 to 1946.
