Lanner, Max, 1907-
Pianist and educator. Born and raised in Vienna, Austria. Graduate of Vienna Conservatory of Music (Diploma) and University of Vienna (Ph. D. 1933). Came to the U.S. 1939. Joined music faculty of Colorado College, Colorado Springs 1946 ; became its chairman 1951.
