Clark, Ernest, 1888-1968
Ernest Clark (1888-1968) was a teacher in Idaho and Wyoming.
Ernest Clark was born on October 12, 1888 in Freedom, Wyoming, to Arthur Benjamin and Helen Ross Clark. His family later moved to the Mormon colonies in Mexico, where he lived until the expulsion of the Mormons in 1912. He attended the Utah State Agricultural College, and after graduation settled in Idaho. He later moved to Afton, Wyoming, where he taught high school and seminary. He married Sylvia Ann Carling on May 27, 1914, but she died in 1916. Ernest married Esther Pratt on February 28, 1918, but she died in 1929. He married Cecilia Dursee in 1956. Ernest spent much of his life teaching school. He had four children and six step-children. Ernest died on July 19, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
