Davis, George Lewis Collins.

George Lewis Collins Davis (1807-1876) of New Orleans, La., and Natchez, Miss., served as surveyor and selectman of Natchez, and in 1855 was representative of his district in the Mississippi legislature. He also managed telegraph businesses, including Western Union in Natchez and New Orleans.
