Ku Klux Klan (1915- ). Wayne County, Ind.
The second Ku Klux Klan movement formed in Georgia in 1915. In Indiana, it rose to power in the early 1920s, with over 300,000 members in the state. In the wake of scandals, state membership quickly declined in the latter half of the decade.
