Radical Cheerleaders.
Formed in 1996 by sisters Cara and Aimee Jennings of Lake Worth, Fla., after their return from a from a feminist anarchist convention. Their idea was to use cheerleading to broadcast messages from the feminist left. Squads exist in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and perform at local, national, and international demonstrations.
