Kansas American Revolution Bicentennial Commission
The Kansas American Revolution Bicentennial Commission, which operated under the executive direction of Charles D. Stough, was formed to develop and coordinate activities related to Kansas' celebrations of the American Revolution Bicentennial in 1976. Commission activities included the Historic Building Survey and the publication of "Kansas the 34th State: A summary of Bicentennial activities in Kansas" in 1976.
