Brady, Hugh Picken.

Hugh Picken Brady was born in Sitka, Alaska, on February 19, 1891. He was educated at Phillips Andover Academy and Yale College, graduating from the latter in 1914. Immediately after graduation, Brady entered the lumber industry, first as assistant manager at A. C. Dutton Lumber Company, then concurrently as an owner and manager of Colby Lumber Company and as a partner at Brady & Ketcham Lumber Company. In 1933, he became president of Hugh P. Brady Lumber, Incorporated. He served his alma mater in various capacities in his later years and was awarded the Yale Award Medal in 1952.
