Colorado school teacher. B. June 2, 1884 Sugar Loaf, Colo. Graduated 1906 Univ. of Colorado. Taught Idaho Springs and Denver, Colo. On elementary faculty Wolcott School, Denver 1920s; retired 1950 from Denver Public Schools (Teller Elementary School). D. Dec. 25, 1980 Denver.

Charlotte Collie was born at Sugarloaf (Wallstreet), Colo., on 2 June 1884, the daughter of Joseph Collie and Mary Bard Collie. Her brother was Joseph Edward Collie. Her maternal grandparents were Richard and Mary Bard. Charlotte attended State Preparatory School and the University of Colorado. She taught in the public schools of Boulder, Idaho Springs and Denver, and died in Denver on 25 December 1980.

Charlotte Collie was born in 1884 in Sugarloaf, Colo., a pioneer community at the foot of Sugar Loaf mountain in Four Mile Canyon which was later renamed Delphi, then Wallstreet. Charlotte's parents were Joseph and Mary Bard Collie, of 1034 Pine St., Boulder. She taught school in Boulder, Idaho Springs and Denver. Her brother Joseph Edward (Ned) Collie, a chemist and mining engineer, graduated from the University of Colorado (as did Charlotte) in 1899.
