The Company transferred to Glasgow in 1969, to become The Scottish Theatre Ballet . It later changed its name to Scottish Ballet . The Company is now led by Robert North. A decision was made in 1998 to amalgamate with Scottish Opera and today the companies are ran by a joint board.
