Tyler Bridges is a graduate of Stanford University and has reported for publications such as THE WASHINGTON POST, WALL STREET JOURNAL, CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR, and others. From 1992-1996 he covered the legalization of gambling in Louisiana for the TIMES-PICAYUNE, and eventually wrote the book BAD BET ON THE BAYOU: THE RISE OF GAMBLING IN LOUISIANA AND THE FALL OF GOVERNOR EDWIN EDWARDS. He conducted interviews of more than 100 people and reviewed thousands of articles and documents in order to accurately represent events.
