Pedro Guerrero was born in Solomonville, Arizona, in 1896. After living with his grandmother in Durango, Mexico, for several years, he returned to Casa Grande. He had a number of different jobs before establishing in 1920, Arizona's first extant sign company. In 1946, he and 2 partners established Rosarita Mexican Foods. Guerrero has been very active in community affairs, being involved in the Mesa Rotary Club; in 1941, he was Mesa's Outstanding Citizen.
