Maximilian Bethune Wellborn was Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and was later elected to the Alabama State Senate. Charles I. Graves and John Herbert Dent served in the U.S. Navy. John Horry Dent was a plantation owner in Barbour Co., Ala, and a farmer in Floyd Co., Ga.
