Beulah Ryan discusses her experiences in the Land Between the Lakes region of Kentucky from the turn of the century to the latter part of the 20th Century. She describes in detail various aspects of life on a rural Kentucky farm, area churches and religious events. Ryan also recalls stories told to her regarding the Civil War, the Night Riders, the making of illegal whiskey and food production and preservation in the Land Between the Lakes area.
