Chaffey Brothers
Chaffey Bros. Ltd. formed 1887 by Canadians George and William Benjamin Chaffey following agreements made with governments of Victoria and South Australia to develop Mildura and Renmark as irrigation settlements. Considerable progress was made but financial and administrative difficulties caused the company to go into liquidation 5 December 1895.
