Pratt, Samuel F. (Samuel Fletcher), 1807-1872.
Born in Townsend, Vt., 27 May 1807, son of Samuel and Sophia Pratt. The family moved to Buffalo, N.Y. shortly after his birth. Partner in Pratt & Co. hardware and iron manufacturing business, and one of the founders of Pratt & Letchworth.
