Mitchell, Robert Charlton, 1831-1884.
Robert Charlton Mitchell was born in 1831 in Burlington, New Jersey. During the Civil War, he served as an officer in the 51st Regiment, New York State Volunteers and the 7th Regiment, National Guard of New York State. In 1865 he married Alexina Gaff.
