Donovan, Clifford L.
Civil engineer, road builder. During the earlier years represented in the collection Donovan worked as a junior engineer for the Bureau of Public Roads. Later he worked for Weitz, McLaughlin Central Engineering and Priester Constructors as their superintendent of the equipment and plant department. In this capacity he was associated with projects for the United States War Dept. and the Des Moines Ordnance Plant. He was also involved with Iowa road construction projects funded by federal aid for the construction of a secondary road highway system.
