Nields, John W., Jr,

Born in New York City in 1942, Mr. Nields attended the Dalton School on Manhattan's Upper East Side, graduated from Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, and majored in political science at Yale University. He went on to law school at the University of Pennsylvania in 1964, from where he graduated in 1967. Afterwards he worked for five years in the U.S. Attorney's office, clerked for Associate Justice Byron White of the U.S. Supreme Court, and currently is a partner at Howrey, a law firm in Washington, D.C. During his career he prosecuted high government officials, investigated members of Congress, and became president of the D.C. bar association.
