T. (Thomas) Lindsay Baker received his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in history at Texas Tech University. He conducted extensive work in both the history of technology and social and cultural history, and published several books in those areas. Baker also served as a curator at museums in Canyon, Fort Worth and Waco, Texas. Thomas Lindsay is also the editor of the Windmillers’ Gazette, a publication devoted to the history and collecting of windmills. Julie P. Baker was T. Lindsay’s second wife.
