John M. Burdick, Union soldier, was born ca. 1840, and died 8 January 1865. He served with the 21st New York Cavalry, was captured in June 1864, and was imprisoned for three months at Andersonville Prison, Georgia. He was sent to Charleston, South Carolina, and paroled, but he died soon after.
